- Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or 60% marks in MS/MPhil/equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized institution
- Minimum 60% score in GRE/HAT General or equivalent test
- Minimum 60% score in the DUHS subject-specific test
- Shortlisted applicants must appear for an admission committee interview
- Submission of a short research proposal in the applicant's area of interest
