Chief Minister Honhaar Scholarship

Scholarship Overview

Virtual University of Pakistan encourages eligible students holding a Punjab domicile and enrolled in the first semester of a four-year BS program in Fall 2026 to apply for the Chief Minister Punjab Honhaar Scholarship Program 2026. Under this Government of Punjab initiative, selected students will receive 100% tuition fee coverage for the entire degree program, subject to the prescribed eligibility criteria and merit.

Eligible Criteria

• No Age Limit

• Have domicile of Punjab province

• No Gender specific

• Monthly Family income of the applicant must be less than Rs. 350,000/- for Public Sector HEIs and Rs. 500,000 for Federal / Private Sector HEIs (Affidavit on E-Stamp Required) (Download Sample Affidavit)

• The applicant must be enrolled in the 1st semester/year of Selected Disciplines in the Selected Universities / Colleges in 2026. Students already enrolled in 1st year of MBBS and BDS in 2026 are also eligible for the scholarship program.

• Register an account on honhaarscholarship.punjabhec.gov.pk with your CNIC/B-Form

• Enter personal and Punjab domicile details

• Input educational credentials (Matric and Intermediate marks)

• Select your enrolled university, campus, and degree program

• Enter family income and socioeconomic details

• Upload required documents and the signed e-stamp income affidavit

• Review and submit the application before the deadline

• Complete physical verification at your institution's scholarship desk
